In Our Industry, Experience Matters
Our systems are designed to protect the environment and end-users, safeguarding them from leaks, fire and contamination. To prevent future complications, our experts are well-versed in the various regulations, statutes, and environmental codes that must be followed. As part of PEI’s 90 plus year history, quality installation and service have been the foundation of our success. In our line of business, there is no room for failure; excellence is all we have to offer. At PEI, we do our job so you can do yours.
Petroleum Equipment Inc. and our field staff specialize in the installation, maintenance and removal of aboveground and underground petro-chemical storage and dispensing systems. We are:
- A Wisconsin Certified Tank Specialty Firm (cert. # 402149) with the following certifications:
- Underground Tank Installation
- Above ground Tank Installation
- Tank Remover/Cleaner
- Staffed by field personnel who are personally certified as:
- Wisconsin Aboveground Tank System Installers
- Wisconsin Underground Tank System Installers
- Wisconsin Tank System Removers and Cleaners
- OSHA 40 HAZWOPER Certified
- Signatory to Steamfitters Local 601
- Signatory to Operating Engineers Local 139
Historically, it is difficult to find and hire employees who are knowledgeable about our specialized field and who also carry the numerous credentials outlined above. This is still true today, because there are no educational tracks available for those who want to learn about petro-chemical systems, our staff is trained in the field, in a hands-on manner. This training takes several years and is not replicable in a classroom or other educational environment. Our work showcases the value in this approach.
Petroleum Equipment Inc. (PEI) provides Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) testing and Functionality Certification on an annual basis for our large airport located in the Midwest. PEI’s staff not only addresses the ATG system but provides a holistic assessment of the entire system. Minor repairs are conducted on the spot with input readily provided for larger recommended repairs that are taken care of promptly and cost-effectively.
The airport prides itself on being a top-tiered Midwest airport and PEI provides the outstanding quality in their work that we strive for. We regularly recommend PEI’s services and tell our business associates,
“If you want it done right, contact PEI.”
PEI’s team has the knowledge and resources to complete any job efficiently and effectively, the first time, while keeping the end-user’s safety as top priority. No matter how big or small the project is, PEI finds a way, not an excuse.
WCAF continues to utilize PEI’s knowledge to complete annual inspections and tank cleanings. Their turnkey operations get the job done right the first time, quickly and professionally. PEI isn’t just our first call, they are our only call when it comes to WCAF’s fueling systems.
